Impressionware announces Hermit Crab
Impressionware, one of Europe’s leading mobile games developers, announced today that it is working on a mobile game based on a new IP called “Hermit Crab”.
The game features impressive high quality cartoon graphics and an addictive one-thumb game-play mechanic.
The player will have to help Bernie the crab reunite with his family drifting on a crazy rollercoaster through 20 levels of dangerous underwater worlds.
Bernie the crab will meet loads of crazy characters while being carried by the underwater currents, the aim being to finish the levels as fast as possible collecting multiple bonuses and selecting the best possible route.
The main features of the game are:
Immediate and addictive game-play
High quality cartoon graphics
20 levels
4 settings
2 game modes
Hot seat multiplayer
Luigi Fumero, Impressionware’s Managing Director, added, “Until now Impressionware has worked with several high profile IPs and we have been pretty successful in releasing impressive branded games. While we will keep on doing that we also want to start building our own new IPs. Hermit Crab is one of our first efforts in that direction and we will support it with various additional activities, including releasing web comics and web mini-games. Hermit Crab will show how high our production values are.”
The game will be ready by Q4 2007 supporting all major handsets. Impressionware is actively looking for mobile games publishers interested in participating in the project.
